Ambassador Thiedemann presents Letter of Credence to the Queen’s Representative in the Cook Islands, HE Tom Marsters

The ambassador noted his appreciation of the warm reception to the Cook islands  and fruitful meetings with Mr Masters, the Deputy Prime Minister, ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance and other members of the political leadership of the country. Topics discussed covered, among others, climate change and environmental protection. College. The German Government had funded the installation of a science laboratory for the school, a project which, like the donation of the fire brigade equipment, was completed as part of the German Embassy’s Small Development Projects Programme 2015/2016.
