pro clima HUB opens its doors

Just in time for the cold and windy season, a New Zealand subsidiary of the German company pro clima inaugurated its Center for Advanced Building Systems in Auckland on 7 July 2017. The pro clima HUB aims at promoting international building standards with regard to energy efficiency and improved living standards.

Pro clima, one of the global market leaders in thermal insulation, has been represented in New Zealand since 2008. Within the framework of the New Zealand-German high tech cooperation, the new HUB is set to connect companies from both countries who operate internationally. Inside a big hall in Auckland, visitors find a model house under construction, which will be used to share know-how and innovative ideas. The HUB will be an industry meeting point where experts can exchange ideas, make new contacts and where local builders have an opportunity to receive advanced training.

Apart from companies and experts from the building sector, German Ambassador Gerhard Thiedemann and representatives of the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (formerly NZGBA) were also amongst the guests. Paving the way in supporting German companies in New Zealand, the Chamber of Commerce plays an important part in the economic relations between our high tech economies.
