Scholarships for secondary students in New Zealand
The Society for NZ-German Student Exchange (NZGSE) and the Educational Exchange Service (PAD) regularly offer a number of scholarships for New Zealand Year 12 students currently studying German.
The Pädagogischer Austauschdienst (PAD) -Educational Exchange Service- supports international secondary student exchanges in 90 nations. Every year three students from New Zealand receive a scholarship where they spend four weeks in Germany to spend four weeks in Germany.
The Society for New Zealand-German Student Exchange (NZGSE) provides up to five scholarships every year. Secondary schools are sked to nominate their top students. Winners will spend 10 weeks in Germnany from November to Fbruary. The students host their German student brother/sister the following year from June to August.
